James Longueville PS RBSA

Working in oil, pastel and watercolour, Longueville's work is traditionally figurative; influenced by a long line of exponents in European landscape painting from Boudin, Constable and the East Anglian School to Wilson Steer, Seago and others.

Longueville has exhibited regularly at the Mall Galleries, London and also with the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Society of Oil Painters. He is a highly regarded senior member of the Pastel Society to which he was elected in 1983. He has shown in the Royal Academy and exhibits with the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists; a full member of which society he was elected in 1989.
